Designed by Simon Delaney, this sport flyer is built to last and to be your favorite “Beater Bird” to keep your flying skills sharp. It can be built with either a foam-core wing or a traditional built-up balsa wing construction. The planes show foam cutting templates and all the balsa rib patterns with building tabs attached for building the wing flat on the building board. The 1.20 4-stroke powered SportStar uses simplified construction methods and uses commercially available hardware like landing gear, cowl and canopy.
